Recipe: World’s Best Fudge

1 1/2 cups butter6 cups granulated sugar1 1/2 cups evaporated milk390 miniature marshmallows (4 1/3 cups)2 cups chopped pecans2 teaspoons vanilla extract1 cup crunchy peanut butter2 (12-ounce) bags chocolate chips

  • Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan; set aside.
  • In a 4 or 5 quart sauce pan mix butter,sugar and milk. Bring to a full rollingboil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling on mediumheat until a candy thermometer reaches 236°F (110°C).
  • Stir in chocolate chips, marshmallowsand nuts mixed together, stirring untilmelted. Remove from heat, add vanilla and peanut butter,stir until well mixed.
  • Pour into prepared pan and let cool atroom temperature, then cut into squares.

    Makes about 6 pounds.

    This fudge recipe is super creamy and everyone requests it during the holidays. While preparing, be sure that you don t let the mix get hotter than 238 degrees or it gets really dry but still tastes good.
