White Salsa recipe

Sour cream, mayo, lime, garlic, fresh cilantro,chopped black olives and green onions are combined to make thisversion of white salsa.

Recipe: White Salsa

1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
Juice of 3 limes
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cups fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1 (6-ounce) can pitted black olives, drained and coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cups green onions, finely chopped
5 teaspoons hot pepper sauce, or to tasteSalt and ground white pepper to tasteBlue corn tortilla chips for accompaniment

  • In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise andsour cream, mixing well.
  • Add lime juice, garlic, cilantro, blackolives, scallions, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper. Taste andadjust seasonings for personal preference.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours before servingto allow flavors to blend. Serve with blue corn tortilla chips.

    Makes about 4 cups.

    I was looking for a great salsa for a side dish for tonight and found this great recipe. My stomach started to growl when I was reading this. I can t wait to share this at my party tonight.
