Chunky chocolate cookies loaded with whitechocolate chips and almond slivers.
Recipe: White Chocolate ChunkCookies
2 cups butter, softened
In a large bowl, with an electric mixer;at medium speed, beat together butter, brown sugar, sugar, eggs,and vanilla until creamy. Reduce to low speed; gradually foldin flour and unsweetened baking cocoa just until blended. Stirin white chocolate chips and slivered almonds.
Divide dough into quarters; shape intoan 8-inch log; 1/2-inch thickness and slice into 1/2-inch pieces.Place on ungreased cookie sheets 1-inch apart. Flatten each slicewith a fork, making crisscross marks.
Bake in 350°F (175°C) oven for10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Transfer cookies, coolon a wire rack.

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/4 cup slivered almonds
Makes 60 cookies.
