Whipped Carnation Nonfat Dry Milk Topping.

Enjoy this light and airy topping withouthaving to be concerned with fat. Chilled instant nonfat dry milk,unflavored gelatin and sugar make this topping a treat you’llfind easy to serve and enjoy.

Recipe: Whipped CarnationNonfat Dry Milk Topping

1/2 cup ice water
1/2 cup NESTL ® CARNATION® Nonfat Dry Milk
1 1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
2 tablespoons cold water
2 tablespoons boiling water
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Combine ice water and dry milk in largemixer bowl. Freeze bowl, milk mixture and beaters for 15 minutes.Combine gelatin and cold water in small bowl. Let stand for 3minutes. Add boiling water; blend well. Cool to room temperature.
  • Whip chilled milk mixture until stiffpeaks form. Add gelatin mixture, sugar and vanilla extract. Whipjust until blended.

    Makes 3 cups.

    Note: If whipped topping develops an airyappearance, simply stir vigorously to restore smooth appearance.For best results, prepare same day as serving.
