Welsh-Rarebit and Grits Casserole.

Serve this hearty casserole for breakfastwith eggs and bacon for a real down-home meal or as a side dishwith your favorite dinner entr e.

Recipe: Welsh Rarebit andGrits Casserole

1 (11-ounce) package frozen Welsh rarebit,defrosted*
1 cup quick-cooking grits, prepared according to package directions
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped green onions
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 clove garlic, minced

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C);grease 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
  • Combine welsh rarebit, grits, milk, greenonions, eggs, butter and garlic in medium bowl. Pour into prepareddish.
  • Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until setand top is brown. Season with salt and black ground pepper.

    Makes 6 servings.
