Vanilla Glaze recipe

Use this basic thin vanilla glaze on avariety of desserts such as cakes, cupcakes, coffeecakes, brownies,etc.

Recipe: Vanilla Glaze

1/4 cup butter2 cups powdered sugar2 to 3 tablespoons hot water1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • Place butter in a medium microwave-safebowl. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 30 seconds or until melted. Stirin powdered sugar, hot water and vanilla, beating untilsmooth and slightly thickened. Drizzle over cooled cake.

    Makes about 2 1/4 cups glaze.
