Vanilla Buttercream Frosting recipe

A creamy vanilla buttercream that tastesas good as it is easy to whip together. You’ll never want tobuy a can of store-bought frosting again.

Recipe: Vanilla ButtercreamFrosting

1/3 cup butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
3 to 4 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • In large bowl, beat butter, powdered sugar,milk and vanilla until smooth. Add additional milk, if necessary,1 teaspoon at a time until frosting is desired spreading consistency.

    Frosts and fills an 8 or 9-inch layer cakeor 1 (13 x 9-inch) cake.
