Tropical Dream Shake recipe

Tropical fruits and frozen yogurt, blendedtogether in this refreshingly cool smoothie, are great on a hotsummer afternoon. (Also, it makes a nutritious breakfast forpeople who are in a rush to get to school or work.)

Recipe: Tropical Dream Shake

2 cups cubed, peeled and pitted mango
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups cubed, peeled and pitted papaya
1 cup orange juice
1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups crushed ice

  • Combine mangos, milk, papaya, orange juice,frozen yogurt and sugar in a blender. Process until smooth, about3 minutes. Add crushed ice and blend again until smooth.

    Makes 4 servings.

    Tip: You can substitute fresh strawberriesfor the mango or papaya.
