Sweet and crunchy almond toffee coveredin creamy milk chocolate.
1 cup butter
Combine butter, sugar, water, light cornsyrup, and slivered almonds. Cook in a saucepan over medium-highheat, stirring constantly for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it becomesa dark brown honey color.
Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking and pour inthe candy; spread quickly with a spoon. Place a chocolate candybar on top. When the chocolate melts, spread evenly over thetoffee. Cool before breaking into pieces.
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
2/3 cup slivered almonds
6 ounces milk chocolate candy bars
Makes 24 pieces.
