Three-Fruit Sangria recipe

Orange, lemon and lime juices are combinedwith sugar, heated to dissolve, cooled and combined with Burgundyand cognac for this refreshing sangria.

Juice of 1 large orangeJuice of 2 large lemonsJuice of 2 large limes1/2 cup granulated sugar1 (750-milliliter) bottle Burgundy ordry red wine1/3 cup cognac

  • Combine first 4 ingredients in a smallsaucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves, stirringconstantly; cool.
  • Combine juice mixture, wine and cognac;chill beverage thoroughly.

    Makes 5 (1-cup) servings.
