Tarragon Sauce recipe

Recipe: Tarragon Sauce

2 tablespoons butter2 tablespoons all-purpose flour1 1/2 cups water2 teaspoons Chicken or Seafood Redi-Base2 teaspoons Dijon mustard2 teaspoons chopped chives2 teaspoons dried tarragon2 teaspoons dried parsley1/2 cup half-and-half or heavy cream

  • Melt butter in saucepan and add flourto form a roux. Slowly whisk in water and choice of Redi-Base.Bring to a boil.
  • Blend in mustard, chives, tarragon andparsley. Cook 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat, add half-and-half orcream and serve.

    Makes 2 cups.
