Strawberry Almond Chocolate Tart.

This tart makes a beautiful presentationand it tastes wonderful!

Recipe: Strawberry AlmondChocolate Tart

1 purchased refrigerated pastry for 9-inchpie
1/4 cup strawberry jam
1 cup (6-ounces) NESTL TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet ChocolateMorsels
2/3 cup NESTL ® CARNATION® Sweetened CondensedMilk
1 tablespoon amaretto liqueur or 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups sliced strawberries
3 tablespoons toasted almonds

  • Place unfolded pastry on ungreased bakingsheet. Turn edges under 1/2-inch; flute. Prick pastry with tinesof a fork. Bake in preheated 425°F (220°C) oven for 10to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely on wirerack. Spread with jam.
  • Microwave morsels and sweetened condensedmilk in medium, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for1 minute; stir until smooth. Microwave a few seconds longer,if necessary. Stir in liqueur. Pour over jam; spread to edges.Chill for 1 hour or until chocolate is set.
  • Arrange strawberries over chocolate; sprinklewith almonds. Serve immediately.
