Spinach Parmesan Rice recipe

This is a natural with grilled chicken,steak or fish.

Recipe: Spinach ParmesanRice

1 (12-ounce) package frozen spinach souffle,defrosted according to package directions
4 cups cooked white rice
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 tablespoon butter, melted

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).Lightly grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
  • Combine rice, spinach souffl ,cheese and nutmeg in large bowl; place in prepared baking dish.Top with bread crumbs; drizzle with butter.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until set.

    Makes 8 servings.

    Orzo is one of my favorite kind of pastas. It may be due to the fact that I grew up on Korean rice my entire childhood, so it s really no surprise that I would love this pasta in rice-shaped form. And when you couple that with the amazing flavors of the salty Parmesan and fresh spinach in a light cream sauce, what s not to love?
