Spicy Apple Eggnog recipe

Cinnamon-kissed egg nog spiked with applebrandy.

Recipe: Spicy Apple Eggnog

2 large eggs, beaten
3 cups milk
2 cups light cream or half-and-half
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dash salt
3/4 cup apple brandy
Ground nutmeg

  • In a large saucepan, combine the beateneggs, milk, light cream or half-and-half, sugar, cinnamon, andsalt. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture is slightlythickened and heated through, but do not boil.
  • Remove from heat; stir in the apple brandy.
  • To serve, ladle the mixture into 12 heat-proofglasses or cups. Sprinkle each serving with nutmeg. Serve warm.

    Makes 12 servings.
