Sparkling Holiday Punch recipe

This amazing punch has terrific flavorsthat make it a festive success. Cinnamon, cloves and cardamomteam up with sparkly chilled ginger ale. Cranberries add somefestive colors to this perfect-for-entertaining punch.

Recipe: Sparkling HolidayPunch

3 (11.5-ounce) cans pear nectar2 cinnamon sticks4 whole cloves1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom, (optional)1 (1 liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled1/2 cup frozen cranberries

  • Place nectar, cinnamon sticks, clovesand cardamom in large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heatto medium and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Refrigerate for 4 hours or until chilled.Remove cinnamon sticks and cloves with slotted spoon. Pour mixtureinto large punch bowl; stir in ginger ale. Float cranberrieson top.

    Makes 8 cups.
