Snicker Cake recipe

A ‘cake-mix-easy’, fix-it-up and call ithomemade cake that tastes like the candy bar with a similar name.

Recipe: Snicker Cake

1 (18.25-ounce) package German chocolatecake mix
1 (14-ounce) package soft caramel candies
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup milk
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup chopped roasted peanuts
1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • Mix German chocolate cake mix accordingto the package directions. Pour half of the batter in a flouredand greased 13 x 9-inch cake pan and bake at 350°F (175°C)for 20 minutes. Cool.
  • In the top of a double boiler melt caramelcandies with butter and milk. Pour over the cooked cake. Sprinklechocolate chips and chopped pecans on top; followed by the remainingcake batter.
  • Return cake to the oven and bake for anadditional 25 minutes.
  • When cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

    Makes 16 servings.
