Slushy Fruit Punch recipe

Prepared fruit-flavored gelatin is combinedwith lemonade concentrate and pineapple juice, frozen until slushy,placed in a punch bowl and topped with ginger ale to make thisrefreshingly icy, slushy fruit punch.

Recipe: Slushy Fruit Punch

3 (3-ounce) packages fruit-flavored gelatin(any flavor desired)4 cups boiling water8 cups cold water1 (12-ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate1 (46-ounce) can unsweetened pineapplejuice, chilled2 quarts ginger ale, chilled

  • Dissolve gelatin in 4 cups boiling waterin large container.
  • Stir in 8 cups cold water, lemonade concentrateand pineapple juice. Cover tightly and freeze for several hoursor until slushy.
  • Place slush mixture in punch bowl. Addginger ale; mix and serve.

    Makes 50 servings.
