3 large (about 1 1/2 pounds) fresh Californiatomatoes, sliced
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon freshly chopped garlic
2 tablespoons toasted pine nuts
2 ounces blue cheese
1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
