Simple Southwest Fruit Salsa recipe

Serve this delicious fruit salsa with tortillachips or as an accompaniment to grilled meats.

Recipe: Simple SouthwestFruit Salsa

1 (15-ounce) can Del Monte® ChunkyMixed Fruits or other Del Monte® Canned Fruits, drained
1/2 cup red onion, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon (fresh or canned) seeded and chopped jalapeñopepper, to taste

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Letstand at room temperature at least 15 minutes, or refrigerateup to 6 hours before serving.
  • Serve with tortilla chips or as an accompanimentto grilled chicken, fish, steaks, pork or lamb chops.

    Makes 6 servings.
