8 ounces farfalle (bow-tie) pasta1 (16-ounce) package kielbasa sausage,diagonally cut into 1/4-inch thick slices1 medium onion, halved and cut into thinslices4 tablespoons butter or margarine – divideduse2 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed1 (16-ounce) package refrigerated sauerkraut,drained and rinsed1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepperto taste
