Sausage and Egg Breakfast Burritos recipe

A complete breakfast wrapped up in a flourtortilla. Make extra burritos, wrapped individually, for a quick,grab and go breakfast the next day. Simply reheat for 45 secondsor until hot in the microwave.

Recipe: Sausage and Egg BreakfastBurritos

1/2 pound sausage
2 tablespoons chopped onion
6 large eggs
1 (4-ounce) can diced green chiles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
8 large flour tortillas
3/4 cup salsa

  • In a large skillet over medium heat brownsausage with onion until no longer pink. Drain and set aside,leaving mixture in skillet.
  • In a medium bowl beat together eggs andchiles. Add to sausage mixture; cook over medium heat, stirringoccasionally, until eggs are set. Add cheese, mixing well tomelt.
  • Warm flour tortillas according to packagedirections.
  • Spoon 1/2 cup egg mixture onto centerof each warmed tortilla. Garnish with additional cheese and salsa,if desired. Fold half of tortilla over filling; fold sides towardcenter, leaving top open.
  • Serve immediately.

    Makes 8 servings.
