Sandy’s Harvey Wallbanger Cake recipe

Sandy’s version of the classic cocktail,Harvey Wallbanger, a spirited orange-flavored and glazed cake.

Recipe: Sandy’s Harvey WallbangerCake

1 (18.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (3.5-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs
1/4 cup vodka
1/4 cup orange liqueur
3/4 cup orange juiceGlaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 tablespoon orange liqueur
1 tablespoon vodka

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl combine cake mix, pudding mix,oil, eggs, 1/4 cup vodka, 1/4 cup orange liqueur, and 3/4 cuporange juice. Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for4 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan.
  • Bake for 50 minutes. Cool 30 minutes;remove from the pan.
  • For Glaze: In a bowl combine sifted powderedsugar, orange juice, orange liqueur and vodka. Mix well; drizzleover the warm cake.

    Makes 16 servings.
