Sandra’s Chocolate Cake recipe

Recipe: Sandra’s ChocolateCake

1 (18.25-ounce) package devils food cakemix
1 (8-ounce) container sour cream (1 cup)
4 large eggs
1 (3.9-ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).Spray a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with vegetable cooking spray.
  • Combine all ingredients except chocolatechips in a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer onmedium speed for 3 to 4 minuutes. Stir in chocolate chips (batterwill be thick). Spread in prepared pan.
  • Bake for 35 minutes or until edges beginto pull away from sides and cake springs back with lightly touched(cake will look undercooked). Cool on a wire rack.

    Makes 12 servings.

    “So long chocolate store box cake. This cake was very moist!! I will definitely be making it again the the future. The frosting was a little sweet for us so I will just cut back on the confectioners sugar next time but a great recipe!!!!”
