Salmon Boule recipe

This is a great appetizer to serve theguests who come to watch the Super Bowl with you–it’s guaranteedto get their minds off football for a few minutes.

Recipe: Salmon Boule

2 round French bread loaves
3 (7 1/2-ounce each) cans salmon, removing skin and bones ifnecessaryJuice of 1 fresh lemon
3 (8-ounce each) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
3 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon saltPaprika

  • Cut the top off one bread boule, thenhollow out the loaf, cutting inner bread into bite-size chunks–thisloaf forms your “bowl.” Cut entire second loaf intobit-sized chunks.
  • Place the salmon in a bowl; sprinkle withlemon juice. Add remaining ingredients, blending thoroughly.Spoon into bread bowl; sprinkle with paprika.
  • Serve on a platter, surrounded by breadchunks for dipping.

    Serves 8 to 10.
