These scrumptious cookie bars are basedon the all-time favorite campfire treat and are great for teenparties, potlucks and casual get-togethers.
Recipe: S’More Cookie Squares
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Greasean 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together the flour,graham cracker crumbs, baking powder and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugaruntil light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mixing well.
Add the flour mixture to butter mixture,stirring just until blended.
Press half of dough into prepared pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over dough.
Carefully spread marshmallow creme overchips.
Scatter small amounts of remaining doughover marshmallow layer and carefully spread to cover surface.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until lightlybrowned. Cool completely. Cut into bars.

1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup marshmallow creme
Makes 16 bars.
