Rudolph’s Antlers recipe

Fun and festive crispy chocolate-butterscotchtreats shaped to look like Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer’s ‘antlers’…completewith a bright, shiny red maraschino nose.

Recipe: Rudolph’s Antlers

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch flavored chips
3 ounces chow mein noodles
12 maraschino cherries

  • Combine semi-sweet chocolate chips andbutterscotch chips in the top of a double boiler. Heat over hotwater until melted, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in chowmein noodles.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper andshape into 2-inch ”V”-shaped candies.
  • Cut maraschino cherries in half and placeone half in the center of each candy.

    Makes 24 pieces.

    I’m pretty sure the recipe had a mix for the spices but it wasn’t as many as your mix, so maybe yours will be better, since I’m pretty sure it also has less cloves than the mix I remember. Would cream of tartar be the same stuff?
