Rompope (Mexican Eggnog) recipe

Rompope is strong, sweet and meant to besipped, so small glasses are in order. Refrigerated, it willkeep indefinitely. Recipe courtesy of Shayne and Lee Fischer.

Recipe: Rompope (MexicanEggnog)

4 large eggs
1 (14-ounce) can Nestle La Lachera Condensed Milk (sweetenedcondensed milk)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup rum
Ground nutmeg for sprinkling

  • Blend all ingredients (except for nutmeg)in a blender on high speed.
  • Serve in small glasses with a sprinkleof nutmeg on top.

    Makes 3 to 4 servings.
