Roasted Red Pepper Spread recipe

A simple, yet delicious spread of roastedred pepper, cream cheese, green onions and capers.

Recipe: Roasted Red PepperSpread

1 large red bell pepper*1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened2 green onions, chopped1 tablespoon capers

  • Char pepper over gas flame or in broileruntil blackened on all sides. Wrap in paper bagand let stand 10 minutes.
  • Peel and seed. Rinse if necessary; patdry. Place all ingredients in a food processor and process untilwell combined.
  • Serve with an assortment of crackers.

    Makes about 1 1/4 cups spread.

    *Youmay use the canned variety.

    Made this last night and it came out great. Instead of roasting the garlic we threw it in the food processor, but I recommend that you roast it. Also instead of red wine vinegar I used apple cider vinegar This dip is delicious! ?? I just made it and I m struggling not to eat it all before it even makes it into the fridge! I added extra garlic purely because I m obsessed with garlic and a little smoked paprika, again just general taste preference. Great recipe, thank you!! ??
