Raisin Fudge recipe

Raisins are the key to the sweetness ofthis surprisingly tasty treat. They’re a breeze to make and almostgood for you!

Recipe: Raisin Fudge

1 cup applesauce
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup powdered milk
1/4 cup raisins, chopped
1/4 cup slivered almonds

  • In a small saucepan, bring applesauce,chocolate chips and sugar to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirringconstantly; remove from heat.
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, dry milkand raisins in a mixing bowl. Add chocolate mixture; mix well.
  • Pour into wax paper-lined 8 x 8 x 2-inchbaking pan. Cut into diamond shapes and sprinkle with sliveredalmonds. Refrigerate to set.

    Makes about 16 pieces.
