Raisin Apple Bread Pudding.

Cinnamon, apples and raisins combine fora sweet and rich bread pudding. It’s a great use for leftoverbread and a cozy alternative for dessert.

Recipe: Raisin Apple BreadPudding

4 cups white bread cubes
1 medium apple, chopped
1 cup raisins
2 large eggs
1 (12-ounce) can NESTL ® CARNATION® EvaporatedMilk
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 jar caramel ice cream topping, (optional)

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).Grease an 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
  • Combine bread, apple and raisins in largebowl. Beat eggs in medium bowl. Stir in evaporated milk, applejuice, sugar and cinnamon; mix well. Pour egg mixture over breadmixture, pressing bread into milk mixture; let stand for 10 minutes.Pour into prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until setand apples are tender. Serve warm with caramel topping.
