Quick and Easy Peanut Butter Cookies recipe

Recipe: Quick and Easy PeanutButter Cookies

1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar (dark or light)
1 teaspoon. baking soda
1 large egg
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • Mix together the first 4 ingredients,then add the chocolate chips. Place slightly rounded teaspoonfuls2-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet (I used parchmentpaper on mine).
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about9 minutes – they will be puffy and soft to the touch. Only bakeone sheet at a time. Cool on sheet for 5 minutes, then removeto wire rack to cool completely.

    Makes about 2 dozen cookies.

    Denise, I don t see why it wouldn t be. Use the crunchy and let me know how it turns out! I think it would be just like substituting crunchy peanut butter in a regular peanut butter cookie recipe with flour. I look forward to hearing your result! Does anyone know if just a greased pan would work? I don t have either parchment paper or silicone mat and wanted to give these a try for my husband. Thanks in advance
