Puerto Rican Rum Punch.Coquito is a traditional festivedrink in Puerto Rico, which inspired this sweet, creamy, coconutflavored Puerto Rican Rum Punch recipe. Ideal for special occasionsand friendly gatherings. Cheers!

Recipe: Puerto Rican RumPunch

1 cup water12 cloves2 cinnamon sticks1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled1 (15-ounce) can cream of coconut1 (12-ounce) can NESTL ® CARNATION®Evaporated Milk1 cup rumGround cinnamon (optional)

  • Place water, cloves, cinnamon sticks andginger in small saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat. Removefrom heat; cover. Cool for 15 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks,cloves and ginger piece.
  • Place cream of coconut, evaporated milk,rum and cooled spice water in blender container; cover. Blendfor about 30 seconds or until well blended. Refrigerate in glasscontainer or bottle for at least 2 hours or until well chilled.Shake well before pouring.
  • To Serve: Serve in aperitif glasses fora 2-ounce serving. Sprinkle with cinnamon powder if desired.

    Makes 20 (2-ounce) servings.

    Tip: Place a cinnamon stick in the bottledcoquito for extra spice.
