Pork Chops with Jalapeno Jelly recipe

Fresh rosemary, lime juice and Jalapenojelly make a quick and easy marinade for these tasty grilledpork chops.

Recipe: Pork Chops with JalapenoJelly

2 tablespoons olive oil
Leaves from 3 sprigs of rosemary
2 teaspoons lime juice
4 tablespoons jalapeno jelly
8 pork loin chops
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon cracked pepper

  • To make the marinade, combine the oliveoil, rosemary, lime juice and jalapeno jelly in a bowl and whiskthem together.
  • Place the pork chops and marinade in aplastic bag. Remove the air from the bag, seal and refrigeratefor at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Prepare and preheat your grill or broiler.
  • Remove the chops from the marinade andseason with salt and pepper.
  • Place the chops 2 to 3 inches above thewhite coals or under the broiler and cook the meat on both sides(3 to 4 minutes for medium rare) turning frequently so the marinadedoesn’t burn.
  • Place 2 chops on each plate and servewarm.

    Serves 4.

    In a bowl, combine the milk and egg, beat well. Sprinkle the pork chops on all sides with salt and add to the milk mixture. Place in the fridge and allow to marinate for one hour. I have no idea where these names came from and to my knowledge she knows no one by those names. I m constantly impressed by her and inspired to push the boundaries of my own creativity. Because if she has already started to eclipse the limits of my own ability to innovate what will I have to offer her in the years to come?
