Pizza Biscuit Bears recipe

Pizza Biscuit Bears.

These cute little bears, which get theirpersonality from pizza toppings, are delicious with warm pizzasauce for dipping.

Recipe: Pizza Biscuit Bears

1 (16.3-ounce) tube large refrigeratedbuttermilk biscuits
12 slices pepperoni
12 slices ripe olives
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
1 (2-ounce) jar sliced pimientos, drained
2 tablespoons shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 (8-ounce) can pizza sauce, warmed

  • Separate biscuits; place six biscuits3 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Cut each remainingbiscuit into six pieces; roll each into balls. Attach two ballsto each whole biscuit for ears; pinch dough to seal.
  • Decorate each bear with a pepperoni sliceon each ear, olive slices for eyes, green pepper for nose, twopimiento strips for mouth and mozzarella cheese for furry forelock.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 to20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve with pizza sauce.

    Makes 6 servings.
