Pinto Beans with Bacon.

Bacon makes any dish better. Serve beanstopped with green onions for added flavor.

Recipe: Pinto Beans withBacon

1 (16-ounce) can pinto beans, drainedand rinsed
1/3 cup chicken broth
2 slices bacon, diced
1 tablespoon adobo sauce (from canned chipotle chiles) – optional
2 green onions, sliced

  • In small saucepan, heat chicken brothwith diced bacon gently to render some of the bacon fat, about5 minutes.
  • Stir in pinto beans and adobo sauce, ifusing, and heat through gently.
  • Garnish with green onions to serve.

    Serves 4.
