Recipe: Pineapple Crumb Bars
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup quick-cooking oats
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter or margarine, chilled
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 1/4 cups crushed pineapple chunks, drained
3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon finely grated orange peel
Makes 16 bars.
