Pesto Twists.

These tasty twists made with pesto, hazelnutsand Parmesan cheese are a delicious way to start the eveningor serve them with soup, like CheeseTortellini in Savory Broth.

Recipe: Pesto Twists

1 (17.3-ounce) package frozen puff pastrysheets, thawed
1 (7-ounce) container BUITONI Refrigerated Pesto with Basil
1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts or almonds
1/2 cup (1.5 ounces) BUITONI Refrigerated Freshly Shredded ParmesanCheese

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  • Place pastry sheets on lightly flouredsurface. Roll each sheet into 12-inch square. Spread pesto overone rolled pastry sheet. Sprinkle nuts and cheese evenly overpesto. Lay second sheet on top and press lightly. Cut into twelve1-inch-wide strips. Twist each strip and place on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until light goldenbrown.

    Makes 12 servings.
