Pesto Pistachio Cheese recipe

It can’t get much easier than this – mixprepared pesto with California pistachios and cream cheese. Asimple appetizer that will tantalize the taste buds of your guests.

Recipe: Pesto Pistachio Cheese

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup thawed frozen pesto sauce
1/2 cup natural California pistachios, chopped
Fresh basil sprigs or parsley
Diced radish, red bell pepper or tomato
French bread baguettes, sliced

  • Beat cheese with pesto sauce and 1/4 cuppistachios. Spoon into scooped plate and spread out onto flatlayer. Sprinkle remaining pistachios in ring on top. Garnishwith basil and radish. Serve with sliced French bread.

    Makes 8 appetizer servings.
