Pecan Blossoms.

Pecan Blossoms cookies are delicious springtimecookies. Nestl Nesteggs are an added attraction in thisfestive treat. A perfect snack after hunting for Easter eggs.

Recipe: Pecan Blossoms

1 cup (2 sticks) butter2/3 cup granulated sugar1 tablespoon vanilla extract1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour1 cup finely chopped pecans – divideduse25 to 30 NESTL CRUNCH, BUTTERFINGERor Milk Chocolate NestEggs*, unwrapped

  • Beat butter, sugar and vanilla extractin large mixer bowl until creamy. Gradually add flour; beat untilblended. Add 1/2 cup nuts; beat until well blended. Refrigeratedough for 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls; rollballs in remaining nuts. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove fromoven; immediately press 1 Nestl Nestegg on top of eachcookie. Cool for 1 minute; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

    Makes 25 to 30 cookies.
