Peanut Butter-Fudge Ice Cream recipe

Chocolate peanut butter ice cream…a dreamcome true for more than a few!

Recipe: Peanut Butter-FudgeIce Cream

1 cup granulated sugar1 (6-ounce) package or 1 cup semisweetchocolate chips2 cups milk1/2 cup chunky peanut butter2 cups whipping cream1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Combine sugar, chocolate, and milk intop of double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low;cook until sugar and chocolate melt, stirring occasionally. Stirin peanut butter. Remove from heat; let cool slightly. Stir inwhipping cream and vanilla.
  • Pour mixture into freezer container ofa 2-quart hand-turned or electric freezer. Freeze according tomanufacturer’s instructions. Pack freezer with additional iceand salt, and let stand 1 hour before serving.

    Makes 2 quarts.
