Peanut Brittle Yummy Bars.

A delicious combination of quick-cookingoats and crushed peanut brittle add great flavor and textureto these treats that begin with convenient, ready-to-use refrigeratedcookie dough. This recipe was created by Judi Maki of Appleton,WI.

Recipe: Peanut Brittle YummyBars

1 (16.5-ounce) package NESTL ®TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Dough1 1/2 cups (9 ounces) NESTL ®TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels – divided use1 cup quick-cooking oats1 cup (about 6 ounces) coarsely crushedpeanut brittle1/2 cup chunky peanut butter1/2 cup coarsely chopped peanuts or peanutbrittle

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC).Line 9-inch-square baking pan with aluminum foil; grease.
  • Break dough along pre-scored lines; placein large bowl. Add 1/2 cup morsels, oats and 1 cup peanut brittle;combine well. Press onto bottom of prepared pan.
  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until goldenbrown and puffed. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  • Melted remaining morsels and peanut butterin small saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring constantly,until chocolate is melted. Spread over cool bars. Sprinkle withnuts. Let stand until chocolate just begins to set before cuttinginto bars.

    Makes 48 bars.
