Parmesan Pita Crisps recipe

Baked homemade pita chips topped with Parmesancheese.

Recipe: Parmesan Pita Crisps

6 (6-inch) pita breads1/3 cup olive oil1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheeseSalt and freshly ground black pepper totaste

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Split each pita bread into 2 rounds andbrush rough sides with oil. Stack rounds and cut into8 wedges. Arrange with edges touching, oiledsides up, on 2 baking sheets. Sprinkle with Parmesanand salt and pepper.
  • Bake 12 to 15 minutes, turning bakingsheets around halfway through bakingtime to ensure even browning.

    Makes 48.

    Serves 12 as a snack or hors d’oeuvre.
