Outrageous Cookie Bars.

It’s almost outrageous how good and easythese layer cookie bars are! A great treat for tucking into lunchboxes or sharing at potlucks and picnics.

Recipe: Outrageous CookieBars

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 (14-ounce) can NESTL ® CARNATION® SweetenedCondensed Milk
1 (12-ounce) package or 2 cups NESTL TOLL HOUSE Semi-SweetChocolate Morsels
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt butter in a 13 x 9-inch baking panin oven; remove from oven. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs overbutter. Stir well; press onto bottom of pan. Pour sweetenedcondensed milk evenly over crumbs. Sprinkle with morsels, coconutand nuts; press down firmly.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightgolden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

    Makes 24 to 36 bars.

    All you do is crush up an entire package of Nutter Butter cookies, mix that with some melted butter and bake the crust for a few minutes. When it comes out of the oven top it with Reese s cups and chopped Butterfinger. I read your blog all the time but typically never comment .you crack me up. This sounds like something I would do the balancing act. Only mine was on top of the tea pitcher and guess what happened? A whole pitcher of tea all over my newly scrubbed kitchen floor. I was so not happy! I can t wait to try these bars thanks for another good recipe!!
