Orange White Chocolate Cheesecake.

This is a velvety white chocolate cheesecakewith a hint of orange. It is a sophisticated dessert that’srich and satisfying from the kitchen of Rosilene McLean, Fremont,MI.

Recipe: Orange White ChocolateCheesecake

1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs1/3 cup butter, melted1/2 cup orange juice1 (.25-ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin2 cups (12 ounce package) NESTL ®TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Morsels2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened1/3 cup granulated sugar1 cup heavy whipping cream2 tablespoons finely grated orange peelFresh orange slices and chocolate grahamcracker crumbs (optional)

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine crumbs and butter in medium bowl.Press crumb mixture onto bottom of ungreased 9-inch springformpan. Bake for 10 minutes; cool in pan on a wire rack.
  • Combine orange juice and gelatin in smallsaucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, untilgelatin dissolves.
  • Melt morsels in medium, uncovered, microwave-safebowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; STIR. The morselsmay retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwaveat additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just untilmelted.
  • Beat cream cheese and sugar in large mixerbowl until combined. Gradually stir in gelatin mixture and meltedmorsels.
  • Beat whipping cream in small bowl untilsoft peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream and orange peel intocheese mixture. Pour filling over crust. Cover; refrigerate for6 to 24 hours or until firm. Garnish with orange slices and chocolategraham cracker crumbs, if desired. Remove side of pan.

    Makes 10 servings.

    Love this recipe and always complimented on the cheesecake. Only thing I would say to improve is this, leave the melted chocolate to cool before adding to cream and the cheesecake will set better! Love the new look or think we’ve missed the mark?
