Orange Sherbet Gelatin recipe

Triple the orange flavor, creamy gelatinmold with mandarin oranges.

Recipe: Orange Sherbet Gelatin

2 (3-ounce) packages orange flavored gelatin1 cup boiling water1 pint orange sherbet, softened1 cup whipping cream, whipped1 (11-ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained

  • Combine gelatin and boiling water, stirringuntil gelatin dissolves completely; let cool to room temperature.
  • Add sherbet to gelatin mixture, stirringuntil blended.
  • Fold in whipped cream and oranges.
  • Spoon mixture into a lightly oiled 6-cupmold. Cover and chill until firm. Unmold onto a serving plate.

    Makes 8 servings.
