Orange Sauce recipe

This orange sauce is excellent served warmover ham, pork roast, or beef roast. Suitable for desserts too.

Recipe: Orange Sauce

1 (6-ounce) can frozen concentrated orangejuice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups cold water
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/3 cup raisins
1/8 teaspoon salt

  • In a saucepan combine frozen concentratedorange juice (undiluted), sugar, cold water, cornstarch, raisins,and salt. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Serve warm overmeat.

    Makes about 3 cups.

    The Orange Chicken turned out great. It was exactly the way I hoped it would be. The cornstarch makes the chicken crunchy and the sauce is perfect just as it is. Wiill make it again! Looks delicious! I love the use of Sriracha, one of my favorites! I can t wait to try this recipe out. I m sure it s better than anything from a restaurant isn t homemade always better?
