Orange French Toast recipe

Recipe: Orange French Toast

1 large egg, beaten1/2 cup orange juice5 slices of whole-wheat or raisin bread1 cup crushed graham crackers2 tablespoons butter or margarineMaple syrup for accompaniment (optional)

  • Combine the egg and orange juice in aflat bowl or shallow dish.
  • Place graham cracker crumbs in anotherflat bowl or shallow dish
  • Melt the butter in large skillet or griddlepan at medium heat. Move the butter around the pan to coat thebottom evenly.
  • Dip each slice of bread on both sidesin the egg mixture and then in the graham cracker crumbs.
  • Place in the preheated skillet, cook onone side until light brown. Flip over and cook the other sideuntil light brown.
