Olive Parmesan Puffs recipe

A tasty olive and Parmesan cheese mixtureis spread on slices of sourdough bread and baked until hot andpuffy.

Recipe: Olive Parmesan Puffs

1 cup chopped pitted black olives, drained1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese1/2 cup mayonnaise2 green onions, finely choppedSalt and freshly ground black pepper totaste1 sourdough baguette, cut on slight diagonalinto 1/2-inch thick slices

  • Preheat broiler. Stir olives, cheese mayonnaiseand onions in small bowl to blend.Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mound 1 tablespoon olive mixture on each bread slice. Arrange on bakingsheet.
  • Broil until the toppingis heated through and begins to brown, about 2 minutes.Serve hot.

    Makes about 25 appetizers.
