Oatmeal Buncha Crunch Cookies.

Crunchy bits of chocolate fill these not-so-traditionaloatmeal cookies. They make great snacks to serve after schoolor add to lunch boxes.

Recipe: Oatmeal Buncha CrunchCookies

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda3/4 teaspoon salt1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter or margarine,softened1 1/4 cups granulated sugar1 cup packed brown sugar1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract3 large eggs4 1/2 cups quick or old-fashioned oats1 (13-ounce) package NESTLE BUNCHA CRUNCHCandy

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine flour, baking soda and salt insmall bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanillaextract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time,beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture.Stir in oats and Buncha Crunch. Drop by rounded tablespoon ontoungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until verylightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; removeto wire racks to cool completely.

    Makes 6 dozen cookies.
