Recipe: Nut Goodie Bars
1 (11.5-ounce) package milk chocolatechips – divided use
Line a jelly roll pan with wax paper.
Combine half the chocolate chips, halfthe butterscotch chips and 1 cup peanut butter in a microwave-safebowl. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute; stir. Microwave in 20-secondintervals, stirring after each one, until mixture is smooth.Pour into prepared pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes (mixtureshould be firm, but not too firm).
Combine powdered sugar, butter, evaporatedmilk, vanilla pudding mix and maple flavoring in a medium mixingbowl. Beat until smooth. Spread over chocolate layer. Melt remainingchocolate chips, butterscotch chips and peanut butter in microwave.Stir in peanuts and pour over the top. Refrigerate until firm.Cut into small squares.

2 cups crunchy peanut butter, divided use
2 pounds powdered sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding mix
1 teaspoon maple flavoring
2 cups spanish peanuts
Makes 60 bars.
